Jeff says that people were getting attacked and that they need help. Nick inquires to what is happening at the location. ![]() Nick says it feels desolate, the carpet and walls are thick with the filth of years of neglect. Nick says the rooms are filled with the last residences belongings. Nick says the location is like entering a paranormal time capsule. Nick says they will be the first guests to spend the night there since 1987. Katrina asks if it gets worse and Jeff says it gets way worse. Jeff welcomes the team home and comments believe me this is the nice part. They meet with Jeff Waldridge, paranormal researcher and local ghost tour guide, who starts their tour of the hotel. Nick and Katrina arrive to begin their 72-hour lockdown. ![]() The hotel history includes deaths and a fire. The episode begins with a voiceover explaining the bleak history of the hotel which was open from 1930’s to the 1980’s. If I remember correctly, He was suing a Portal Device in that episode and ive enver used one since theyre like $800.March 17, 2016- The Paranormal Lockdown duo visit the Anderson Hotel in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. I never noticed that the Evp's the orginal poster was talking about sound "demonic", but I will say as someone in the field, if he is using a DR-60 (which is pretty common in higher ranks) it would track with it sounding like that, as they were just built that way. I havnt seen many episodes just season 1 and then I stopped watching. (confirmed it with the owner) And alot of what they experienced in that episode, I experienced myself when I was alone in that home. I personally dont believe that he was touched or drug or whatever the crawl space, however he really did find human remains. I actually did a whole deep dive on the history with the owner. There really is a crawlspace there and its creepy. While I cant confirm that the EVp's were fake. The only reason I think that is because ive done my own investigation there. I think hes talking about the Monroe House episode. The fact Nick uses these and literally has MANY of them leads me to view him as very serious about what he does and willing to invest in its authenticity. That "wooden box" which creates the cleanest sprit sessions I've ever heard as who the hell wants to hear all that static noise created by the cheap ones. They also have a price tag of $2000 which is probably the reason why you have no clue what it is or what your talking about lol as most hunters dont invest that type of money into their craft. Each "wooden box" is individually built for the buyer by George and no 2 are the same. Hmmm surely your not speaking of the Geoport or Geobox which are literally one of the most if not the most expensive piece of ghost hunting equipment available in the paranormal investigation field? Each of these "wooden boxes w/ a speaker inside covered with fairy lights" is individually built from real antique wooden radios by creator & veteran ghost hunter George Brown. I wish Zak Bagans showed up to put Nick in a chokehold as a punishment for his disgraceful acting. ![]() And he says "AHH!! it's got my leg! It's clawing into my back!!" ![]() Then, Nick goes in the basement and crawls in a crawl space. I watched an episode tonight, and this actually, literally happened The footsteps they hear sound like sound effects purchased from Spirit Halloween. The "evp's" all sound like Sauron from Lord Of The Rings when he would speak through the ring. It's borderline offensive to paranormal enthusiasts. Paranormal Lockdown is the most blatantly fake show I've ever seen. Out of all the paranormal shows I've watched (and I've watched a ton), I think Ghost Adventures BY FAR comes across the most genuine, and authentic.īut I don't think I'll ever 100% believe in ghosts until I personally experience something unexplainable. I watch and enjoy Ghost Adventures for the entertainment value, and the creepy eerie vibes I get when I consider the possibility that it could be real. I love the show, and I loved Nick in the show.īut, full disclosure, I consider myself an extremely open-minded skeptic. (I have a Zak Bagans autograph on my wall)

Medications are so helpful in treating infections, cancer, high blood pressure, endocrine problems, and psychiatric conditions among other diseases. “I meant kidney, not turkey…I’ve been doing that kind of thing all the time, lately!” Was this the beginning of a serious neurological disorder? We wondered about this, but saw the language problem vanish when my patient’s antidepressant was stopped and successfully replaced by a different one. When he saw the questioning look I gave him, he caught his mistake. “My depression is a lot better, but I’ve been having pain, right here in my turkey”, said another patient, pointing to the side of his abdomen. She was concerned too! When we stopped her sleeping pill and worked on non-medication ways to improve sleep, an extra benefit for her was memory improvement. I wasn’t sure whether I was witnessing the beginning of a significant memory disturbance, a problem with attention, or possibly the reversible side effects of a new sleeping pill that the patient had obtained over the counter in a local pharmacy. M.2 provides higher performance while minimizing module footprint. The M.2 form factor was borne out of the need for multiple options for small form factor cards, including SSDs in different sizes and with different capacities, and possibilities for extending capacities even further. However, it is limited by the SATA 3.0 link speed of 6 Gb/s and 1 TB maximum capacity. The mSATA interface used to provide the smallest form factor for SSDs. Though M.2 supports both SATA and PCIe, an M.2 module may only be inserted in either one of the two interfaces, so check your motherboard documentation to make sure that your module fits and works with the corresponding socket on the motherboard.īoth are high-performance SSDs designed for small devices such as laptops and tablets. As mSATA's "successor," M.2 provides higher performance and capacity while minimizing module footprint.Īn M.2 SSD module is connected to a host either through a SATA interface or via a PCI Express (PCIe) lane. M.2 improves on the mSATA standard, which uses the PCI Express ® Mini Card physical card layout and connectors. M.2 was originally called the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), and then formally renamed to M.2 in 2013. The M.2 standard, a specification for internally mounted computer add-in cards, was created to address the limitations of mSATA and provide more options for small form factor cards, including SSDs in different sizes and with different capacities. The Mini-SATA (mSATA) interface, though designed specifically to provide the smallest form factor for SSDs, is limited by the SATA 6 Gb/s link. Serial ATA 3 rd generation interfaces, designed for the much slower mechanical hard disk drives, run with a maximum native transfer rate of 6 Gb/s. Their full capabilities, however, are being hindered or limited by the interfaces they are connected to. Solid state drives (SSDs) released in recent years have become faster and more capable of handling large amounts of data. M.2 SSDs: Big Performance Comes in Small Packages That way,all you would have to do,is hook up your axon or Roland unit to your yamaha motif and you will be all set. Or at least a Roland GI 20.which is not as good as the axon, but it does track OK from what I have been told in a live setting.Īxon also makes an AX 50 that does not have as many options as the ax 100, but it tracks EXACTLY the same and costs less! Well if you are better at guitar than keyboard, you might want to get an axon unit. I don't know of a MIDI converter faster than the axon.Īnd one more thing, once you have a decent 13 pin guitar and get an axon unit.you can take your pick of keyboard rack modules and have any sound you want! Also, when a new module comes out you might lust after, you can sell your old rack module and replace it with the newer one. The guitar I mentioned and the axon unit are some of the fastest tracking available right now. (The Roland GR 33 and Brian Moore 81.13) But again, you get what you pay for! If you are not wanting cheesy sounds (though it depends on what you call cheesy) you will probably have to shell out bucks to get a better setup. Now the setup I have for 13 pin MIDI guitar is not cheap as you can see from the prices, cost me a couple thousand dollars, but I use MIDI guitar a lot and used that other setup I told you about for years and it served me well. ![]() I have the Axon and Motif in a 2 space rack case and run it into my amp out to the board. And IT does not sound "cheesy" at all!But you can use ANY keyboard or rackmount keyboard unit you want to! I use a Yamaha Motif rack XS unit for all of my MIDI guitar sounds. the GI 20that converts as well.though not as fast as the axon! It has sounds on it, but not very good ones, but where this unit shines is hooking it up with a keyboard rack module or keyboard itself.does not matter which.only the keyboard takes more space and costs more! īut they also sell a unit from Roland. But the Godin ACS SA is a LOT better at tracking for me, because along with it I also have a Axon AX 100 Mark II MIDI converter.the fastest MIDI guitar converter you can buy!THIS IS THE UNIT TO HAVE IF YOU WANT THE FASTEST 13 pin CONVERTER. I had a Brian Moore 81.13 for a long time that I used with the Roland GR 33 and got some very decent sounds out of it. ![]() Only the Godin classical gets a little better tracking because of the classical strings, which seem to track better than the steel stringed 13 pin MIDI guitars like the Brian Moore. It is a classical guitar that you can plug into any 13 pin MIDI guitar unit like the Roland GR 33 and mix the sound of the classical guitar in with the MIDI sound you have selected. I now have a Godin ACS SA classical guitar with a 13 pin pickup that will plug into any 13 pin unit, all of the 13 pin guitars are that way.not just Brian Moore. ![]() Not to mention a decent organ.īut if you are wanting to go with the BEST 13 pin MIDI guitar setup, then you have to pay for it! Hey, it is like that old saying, "you get what you pay for"! If you think the Roland GR 33 sounds "cheesy" you obviously have not heard the better sounds on it! I owned one for years and had a very good sax, strings, horns and flute sounds on it. ![]() The worker suffered burns to the face, neck, hands and forearms. The guy thought he had retired and moved to Florida. There was a framed newspaper article about Pocoroba on the wall of the tiny establishment, but the man behind the counter said the ex-Brave had sold the business a long time ago. My wife and I showed up there a few years ago, hoping to meet Pocoroba in person, take a selfie, and maybe explain why we still loved him so much. It made perfect sense, he once explained, because he grew up with Italian food and had a grandfather who made sausages for his family. ![]() ”Īfter his game days were over, Pocoroba owned a store called Sausage World, which is pretty self-explanatory. “ He read it through and went on to the next page. “I think that was a page in his life,” Niekro speculated. When Pocoroba showed up at one of the team’s alumni events, Knucksie doesn’t remember it. The 81-year-old Niekro never saw him as a guest teacher at the Atlanta stadium or during the many spring trainings in Florida. While the guy known as “Poco” remained a nice memory for many Braves fans – who could forget this name again? – He didn’t linger around to soak up worship. ” If he could have had a second catcher behind the plate to throw the ball on the second base for him, Biff could have had a great career. “You must be able to throw the ball if you’re a catcher,” said Niekro ruefully. There was an aborted attempt to turn him into a third baseman, but he failed. With his arm shot, Pocoroba spent his last seasons as a backup catcher and pinch hitting specialist. ![]() Pocoroba was released by the Braves at the beginning of the 1984 season and ended at the age of 30 with a shoulder injury that shortened a potentially more productive career. They hadn’t seen each other in at least 30 years. He wasn’t the greatest catcher ever, but he was a good catcher. ” He was a warrior, I tell you, he was a fighter. “All I know is when he came to the baseball stadium, whether it was a home or street game, he had his game face every day,” said Niekro on Wednesday night when he got home. The last of these outs was delivered by his teammate and future Hall of Famer, ankle ball player Phil Niekro. He entered the Midsummer Classic at the then San Diego Stadium in the ninth inning and squatted behind the plate for the last three outs of the NL’s 7-3 victory. It’s strange how certain athletes can be intertwined with your life and take on an oversized role that goes against all logic and reason.īiff Pocoroba was by no means a great player, although he was good enough to stay with the Braves for almost a decade – even good enough to secure a place in the All Star game in 1978. “When he retired, he became a full-time dad and chauffeur for his 15 grandchildren,” the obituary said. The funeral note said that his passion was number one for his family. My wife and I actually went looking for him a few years ago – only to find, unfortunately, that he had withdrawn from the sausage specialty business that he had operated in a suburb of Atlanta for over two decades. Pocoroba always had a special place in our house for reasons that I will explain shortly. The former Atlanta Braves catcher died last weekend at the age of 66, a loss I couldn’t miss if I only mentioned his humble baseball successes and a decade-long career that he spent mostly with some really terrible teams. If such a great, impressive name were the main qualifier, it would surely be anchored in Cooperstown. No doubt one of the greatest baseball monikers ever. |
